Our Matariki Feast
We really enjoyed reading Daniel's Matariki Feast and the discussions we had around how we celebrate special occasions with family and friends.
Paparoa Range were lucky enough to have our own Matariki feast at Blackball site and spent the afternoon making stars and poi while we waited for the food to cook.

Shantytown visit
Room 7 have been getting ready for Matariki and our school hangi. Last Friday Rooms 2 and 7 visited Shantytown and took part in their Matariki programme. Here are some photos of what we did...

Tens frames
The Pentagons group have been learning about tens frames. We know a tens frame has ten spaces but they are really hard to draw! You can see our hard mahi in our maths books. Can you see our best attempts?
